We discuss the importance of multiring images in optical appearance a horizonless spherically symmetric compact object, when illuminated by an optically thin accretion disk. Such object corresponds to subcase analytically tractable extension Kerr solution dubbed as ``eye storm'' Simpson and Visser [J. Cosmol. Astropart. Phys. 03 (2022) 011], which merits removing curvature singularities via asymptotically Minkowski core, while harboring both critical curve infinite potential barrier at center for null geodesics.
